FaderPro student Jody6 signs 8 Techno tracks
It’s always nice to hear a success story about our customers, so we were delighted when Jody Lock, aka Jody6 dropped us an email to tell us about his recent switch from UK style hard house to Techno and how watching FaderPro courses helped him switch up his sound and ultimately sign all 8 new tracks to a variety of techno labels!
“After producing and DJing in the genre of UK hard house for quite a while I decided to try something new,” explains Jody. “I attended a few Techno events and began to get inspired by DJs such as Adam Beyer, Umek, and Carl Cox.”
When talking about making this transition Jody went on to add, “Initially I had no idea how to make techno and no understanding of what makes a good Techno tune. I came across FaderPro.com and was impressed by the line up of top producers presenting the tutorials and how in-depth the lessons were. Primarily due to studying the Umek and Harry Romero tutorials I have been able to get all my first 8 Techno tunes signed to different labels. I had never written a techno tune prior to discovering FaderPro! I am ecstatic to have releases on Natura Viva, Renesanz Recordings, Yellow Recordings and Syncopate Black with more tunes due for release on additional labels shortly.

I can see that they have the same tools as I have and experience the same challenges on the adventure of producing an epic tune.”
